about: accessories from recycled stuff
Mostly self-taught, Jomama is a mixed media artist who’s been creating her entire life. Part environmentalist, part fashionista, she is drawn to discarded items radiating natures patina. Crazy about color and texture, and taking it to the next level, she has learned soldering, casting, fold forming and enameling to add layers to her designs.
With an organic boho vibe, her one of a kind works include jewelry and accessories made from found, repurpose and salvaged stuff. She also crafts personal family heirlooms into wearable memories.
Her love for metal has evolved into her recent pieces which are a compilation of soldering and cold connections using recycled cans. Some items can be found in retail locations.
Along with blogging, she is on the Ice Resin® design team, was an ambassador for Bernina, featured in Daily Candy, Celebrate Green Eco blog, Antisteez, and OM times online. She’s attended Artfest, Bead & Button Show, and has taught locally.
